What we will do
We will meet in Paleokastritsa, where we will go by foot up to the beginning of the donkey path. As we hike up the mountain full of olive groves, we will talk about the history and culture of the local people and Greece. We will be in the present moment as we enjoy the fresh air.
I will also be carrying a bag to pick up any garbage that we see on our way as a good gesture to mother nature. If you would like a bag one will be available.
We will arrive to Lakones and sit down at a unique old-styled Kafeneio to drink a fresh tsi-tsi birra. The corfiot version of a ginger beer. After we will then go up above the kafeneio where they have a museum of Lakones. We will admire the history and importance of this astounding village them slowly make our way down the street to Dolce cafe. Dolce is a coffee place with its own handmade ice cream! While you enjoy your ice cream, you will combine another pleasure which is the view of Paleokastritsa. From Dolce cafe,, you witness the best version!
If you would rather do the hike alone or with some friends without me, it isn’t hard! Here is a map that you will be able to follow! Hike to Lakones. This trail will take you all the way up to the panoramic view! It is 500 meters high and you can see for many kilometers.
