Below I will state 5 beaches that are great for families. All for different reasons. All around Corfu. All accessible by car. All worth visiting! For many of these recommendations, there are not too many restaurants so it would be good to pack a lunch and lots to drink.
Glyfada Beach

Glyfada beach is in mid-west Corfu. A golden sand beach that is your typical mainstream beach. Here you will find sunbeds from all price ranges. Beach bars, restaurants, hotels, water sports, mini markets and souvenir shops are all available at this Corfu beach. The water is shallow, meaning you can walk about 100 steps into the sea and it is still at your waist.
The parking the past couple of years has been free and is close to the beach. However, it does fill up quick so you will have to get there early to find a good spot. Otherwise, you will definitely find a spot going up the mountain, the way you came down. It’s just a matter of how far back up.
The sunset is is always visible from Glyfada Beach, but you may have to go further to the left to see it. Also, all the way to the left is the nudist section of the beach, so beware.
Issos Beach

Another beach on the west coast. However, this one is further south, a lot. It is about a 1 hour drive from Glyfada Beach. However, this beach is huge and very wild. There are only a couple business’s on the beach so you can easily find a spot on Issos Beach not too crowded. There isn’t really anywhere to get something to eat so you will have to pack everything.
Right behind the beach is also a interesting place. It is called cedar forest, some call it spider forest because during part of the season there are a lot of spiders and spider webs. Either way, it is a ton of cedar trees in sand dunes. A great place for a walk and for children to run around.
Issos beach also borders Korrision lake. You can’t get too close because of the bushes, but you can see it from the hill. Here, during parts of the year you will witness flamingos in the lake.
Parking is also easy and close to the beach. However, keep in mind, you will be walking on sand so it is difficult to walk and in order to find a less crowded spot you might have to walk a lot.
P.S. The sunset is also visible from this beach, however, I’ve noticed there can be quite a bit of mosquitos during this time.
Houhulio Beach

Also, known as Kouloura Beach is on the east coast so the sunset is not visible. Houhulio Beach is a small beach not very well known. However, if it stays like this, then there is easy, close to the beach parking. The beach, being surrounded by some trees and the mountain, has natural shade. There is also a place a few minutes away to eat!
It is mostly sand with some rocks.
The beach is a bit small, but is usually pretty quiet!
Kerasia Beach

Kerasia Beach is not the easiest beach to get to, however, once you to you will enjoy it. It is a medium sized beach in north east Corfu. With a mix of sand, pebbles and rocks there is one restaurant on the beach and some sunbeds. However, most of the beach is wild.
The parking for this beach is also not the easiest. It is on a big hill. If you don’t mind a confusing drive and a complicated parking. Then i’m sure Kerasia Beach will be worth it for you and your family.
It is a pebble stone beach and snorkeling is highly recommended.
Daphnila Beach

A very underrated beach is Daphnila Beach in Dassia.
Another beach with one restaurant and sunbeds. The rest of the beach is empty and is usually not too crowded. The walk from where you can park your car is also not too long. It is also a sandy beach. The water is usually warm on here being on the east coast.
